Doc's Picture

Well hello everyone and thanks for taking the time to visit our website.  We appreciate your interest and if you need any further assistance, please contact any of our EMS staff via email or phone.

The paramedic class is chugging right along - currently in the middle of their Cardiology module which is to be followed by modules on Medical Emergencies, Special Patient Populations, Trauma, and finally Operations.  We are proud of their progress and thank our hospital departments and agencies that provide invaluable clinical experience.

We have been working hard on the finishing touches to the 2016 SMO update (standing medical orders).  I think you will be very happy with the final product which will be rolled out in the Spring.  A few highlights I wanted to mention: the addition of IV Zofran and Fentanyl, Duonebs (combination of Albuterol and Atrovent nebs), IN route for Versed, as well as Ketamine for medication assisted intubation and "behavioral emergencies".  We will be providing education and distributing new handbooks to our agencies once they are done at the print shop.

Thanks for all you do.

Be careful out there,

Doc Atch
